Dave Sloan lives and writes in Atlanta, Georgia. He's the guy on his knees in the Rembrandt painting. He was once very depressed and then got on his bicycle in Atlanta and rode it to Los Angeles, after which he felt better. He now teaches cycling to his two young daughters. His wife is very kind.
